When I am in love, the world no longer interests me, and my body responds so stereotypically: I can't eat, can't sleep, can't concentrate, feel like I'm walking through a cloud. I love hard, a fact that has many times beaten me down, but I don't know how to do it differently. I never could "hit and run" with a woman. If I wanted her, I wanted her completely and forever. I couldn't kiss her enough times, or hold her long enough. I couldn't tell her enough times how I loved her and only her. I wanted to give her things that pleased her, I wanted to make her laugh. I wanted to share my favorite things and people with her. I wanted to grow as close to her as it was possible to do, until we finished each other's sentences or didn't have to talk at all. I wanted us to forget what our bodies felt like without each other's embraces. I hear that this kind of love is not possible anymore, but I will continue searching for it. There isn't much point in anything less.
