Me describiría a mi mismo como

I'm a guy who wants to be good company for a woman who enjoys herself in a variety of settings. I like to talk more about substantive ideas and significant events than I do people or trivial matters. I enjoy sights and sounds and good food and conversation. I like a woman's touch.
"Dad" remains my most applicable nick-name with a high-schooler at home on alternating weeks, an out-of-state college student and a young-adult learning to find her own way in the world. When they're around I stay available to them as they might want or as I might otherwise think they need. When they're not around there aren't many things I enjoy more than riding off somewhere on my motorcycle.

I'm fond of warm climates, laid back environs and shoreside locales (I'm an accomplished sailor though many years absent from a boat). My favorite local destinations are Frederick, DC, Annapolis and Rehoboth Beach. This past summer I started to enjoy Ocean City again.

I try to revel in the moments which make up the roller-coaster ride we call "life". I don't sweat too much even the scariest twists and turns but tend to thrill in their passing. What'ya think? Let's talk.

The National Mall on a warm, sunny, day. Falling asleep to a late night storm. Riding my motorcycle through the countryside. Cold beer and a ball game. Outdoor dining. Hangin' with friends; Napping on the beach; reading poolside; backyard grilling; Sunday morning coffee or mimosas - or both.
