I’m an optimistic person who embraces everything life has to offer. I'm a free spirit with a zest for the journey. I enjoy cooking and baking, and playing golf. I enjoy listening to all live music, especially jazz and the blues. I prefer old fashioned conversation—I’m not attached to my cell phone. My views can be liberal or conservative, depending on the topic. When it comes to certain aspects of world issues, I tend to have a more progressive attitude with a more modern approach. Every coin has two sides and I try to appreciate different points of view. I am very conscientious and do “what I say I will do “-- being there is vital in a relationship. I don’t make promises I have no intentions of keeping. I believe that romance should be a part of everyday life, not just for special occasions. I’m fiercely loyal and strive to make my relationship a priority not an option--whether it is out on the town or a quiet evening at home. I’m not jaded about the past, but I have yet to find that special someone. I believe I am ready to take the plunge and be in a committed relationship with the right person.

I’m seeking a companion and friend who is sincere, thoughtful, good hearted and easy going. I’m attracted to a man with a witty sense of humor and who is able to laugh at himself. I prefer a man who is open-minded, outgoing and enjoys different activities. I like a gentleman who doesn’t mind opening doors, riding a bicycle built for two, and doesn’t cheat at Candyland. A guy who could laugh when I squealed like a little girl because my black forest cake didn’t fall after the 14th attempt. A guy who could appreciate the stillness of a light mountain snow in January. Honestly, I don’t expect a knight in shining armor, I’ve lived long enough to be realistic but I do desire a man who has compassion and who is respectful. I’m looking for a man who can commit, and doesn’t make promises he can’t keep (says a lot about one’s character). I want my partner to know what he wants in life—who is confident, well-adjusted and not arrogant. I would like to be paired with a man is comfortable with my vulnerability--I’m a girlie girl with my feelings and affection. Are you that great guy who would appreciate that I would make spiked tea and fluff your pillow when you’re sick?
