I Would Describe Myself As

I’m a divorced white male who is honest and sincere about life and creating a lasting and compatible relationship with a lady. I am retired from the State of Wisconsin, but not retired from life. Currently I am working with a friend who has shot many documentary films, some winning national awards, to produce and shot some documentaries on suitable topics for us.

Other interests are an enjoyment of reading and writing, both fiction and nonfiction; astronomy; the theater and concerts; getting out and about as interesting things come up; and being spontaneous, carpe diem, as it were.

I’m looking for a lady who can give more meaning to my life than I currently am experiencing. I can’t say I am lonely, but I am certainly ready and desire to meet someone who both shares some interests with me and who has her won that she could share with me.

I am not a jealous person, nor am I possessive or of a controlling nature. At this time of life I certainly understand the ladies I meet will have a life of their own, created over many years with family and friends. I will be supportive of any lady I meet and get to know in her continuing to do the things she is already engaged in, and trust she will extend the same courtesy to me. The only proviso is that we have the maturity and common sense to know how and when to include each other in our lives prior to meeting, and what and how and when to create the new things we enjoy doing with each other.

I don’t know. Maybe this is pie-in-the-sky thinking, and some may see it as too romantic to be truly how I feel. Well, differences of opinion makes the world more interesting, but I am an honest person who says what he feels but remains silent otherwise. So if I say something it is the way of it for me, and I need and trust I will have the same in return with you, should we choose to pursue things beyond the friendship stage.
