Hoping to at least make some new friends

Ik beschrijf mezelf als:

I've had HSV2 for about 25 years, given to me by a woman that did not disclose her condition. I was devastated, but I'm a positive person and learned to live with it. I've always informed my partners of it. I got married and for the last 21 years really didn't have any issues with it. I discovered a year ago last Sept that my wife had been cheating for over a year. I found myself thrust back into the dating world. and met someone that I really connected with but the herpes was an issue...my mistake...so here I am...
I'm a manly kind of man who holds the door, pays the check, and treats his woman like a princess. I'm very romantic and love to cuddle. I'm domestic and like spending time at home but I also like adventures. I like to work with my hands and am very competent at anything from cars to construction. I'm presently restoring a '77 V8 Vega wagon and also sing in a rock band. I built an addition on my house about 10 years ago mostly by myself. I love to go mountain bike riding (on trails of course) and I like to ride my road bike as well.
I can have fun doing anything (it's not what you're doing it's who you're doing it with) I'll try anything once. I've always been afraid of heights but I actually jumped out of an airplane (with a parachute lol ) once, It was great! I like cooking, watching movies, grocery shopping (believe it or not!) going out to check out bands or dinner in Greektown (or Mexican town), driving to small towns just to see what's there. Art shows, Car shows, anything interesting.
I love conversation and can carry my end on just about any subject. I'm funny and love to make people laugh. I prefer blue jeans and t-shirts but I do like to dress up from time to time. I lean toward a healthier lifestyle (vitamins, vegetables, and water) but I do love the occasional steak.
I'm honest, loyal to a fault, and easily share my feelings. I'm not expecting to find the next love of my life, I'm hoping to make some friends and have a little fun. I do however want to find someone special, someone to sail off into the sunset with...and I will meet her when I meet her.
Also...I am truly drama free...things are what they are...one simply accepts and moves on. I guess that's my easy going personality at work. I don't get jealous or possessive and I don't tolerate that in others, after all we're adults...let the kids in high school waste time and energy on those useless emotions...LOL!
People are so much better in person than in their pictures and I'm no exception to that rule...contact me...let's meet in person...I am someone you'll really like!!
