I like to think of myself as a pretty well rounded person. I enjoy the company of friends but am quite comfortable on my own as well; I'll go to a movie or dinner on my own, for example, but I'll admit I usually get more from an experience when I can share it with someone else who appreciates the same.
There's no recipe for the kind of relationship I think I want, however I am drawn to people that reflect my values and lifestyle choices.
I am the sort of traveler that takes only a carry-on bag for a week long trip. Sure, I love fancy restaurants and nice hotels (don't most people?!) but I can pack a lunch, stay in a 2 star place or go camping and be quite content. Basically, you can take me to a swanky party and introduce me to your boss and not worry I'll behave like someone off the Jerry Springer show. ;)
To say I don't have a "bucket list" is inaccurate...but I have managed to do a lot that I'm happy about. I still have plenty I'd like to accomplish but I don't feel unfulfilled. I AM striving to achieve a better work/life balance but overall, life is pretty good! I think I'm ready to try meeting someone to share some more great life experiences with. :)
