I Would Describe Myself As

I'm someone that lives for each day, waiting to see what it brings. For some time now I have done that on my own. Don't get me wrong, I am comfortable with my own company but miss the chance to share in life's opportunities with someone.

I am a straightforward, honest talking kind of guy. I am loyal, compassionate, caring and supportive and am now at the time where I want to be able to give that to the right person.

For me, at 50 yrs of age, I am looking for something long-term. I’m not interested in meet ups, hook ups, one night stands etc, I want a relationship that has the potential to go the distance.

I have 3 children, all boys. The eldest live with their mother but my youngest lives with me. I just need you to be aware as they are obviously an important part of my life. This does not prevent me having time to myself and to share with someone.
Now, I am interested in the great outdoors and I love to walk (although a beginner) and I enjoy camping. I will often stick the bike on the car and go away at the last minute. I like that sort of spontaneity and the sense of adventure it brings. But I also like to go away, explore new cities and places from the luxury of a hotel.

My other interests include cooking (always willing to try something new and I haven’t poisoned anyone yet!), sport (playing and watching), music (especially live) and reading although all it seems to be lately is books re: my work.
I haven’t been scuba diving for years and would love to get back into it. All my diving has been done in the UK so would love to venture abroad to somewhere warmer.
