Ich würde mich selbst beschreiben als

OK now it is time to sell myself, you know when you go buy the car and kick the tires. I guess it is time to check the tire pressure and make sure I am up to the task of being your special guy. I know I am dating myself by telling you that I am not that Edsel that didn’t make it a long time ago. But I like to think of myself as one of those dependable models that always starts and keeps on going. You know you put some fuel in me (loving gestures/kiss), take me for a drive (holding hands) and change my oil (a romantic date). I am an older model but you should know I have history of being a dependable model, excellent maintenance record with no recalls (excellent health). I love you trusting me and I would enjoy taking you to the mountains, oceans, to the winery, or just sightseeing. I am so dependable that I never broke down in 29 years but I did lose my owner. Almost forgot, I clean up real nice (enjoy dressing to the occasion) Just a silly note, I met my wife 30 years ago through a local magazine called "Single Touch" not exactly social media but the next best thing in the 80's. She was my 4th date and well, all else was history. Really, I am 65 and want to live without the games and foolishness but I (we) know that isn't always possible. I believe in treating people as I would like to be treated. I am not a member of a church because honesty, I had a career that required me to work 7 days a week and at times 12-14 hour days for months, thank goodness those days are long behind me (Methodist growing up). Yes, when you meet me I may not know where everything is in Bakersfield despite living here for 30 years but I made daily trip (18 years) that took me down Hwy. 99, Maricopa Hwy. to Old River Road where I spend many hours working with a lot of great people on a huge 6,000 acre ranch. I had a great wife (educated, giving and beautiful) and we spent quality time together when we could. We had a trip to London, trips to Mexico and one to Jamaica. I have two great kids that I love and they love me. But life goes on and I want to go to the beach, the mountains, concerts in Bakersfield and LA, enjoy professional ball games, take a RV anywhere, pitch a tent on a moment notice, hike up some unknown trail, take a drive and not know exactly where I am going, spending a weekend on the coast wine tasting and enjoy the ambiance of all so near, going out and making a fool of myself, get on a plane and go to Europe or other parts far away and "all of the above". I read all of these things from most everyone here on the dating site and who doesn't want to do those things. You have to meet someone and yes friendship is so important but being human and a mature consenting adult and enjoying each other, having fun and laughing together is what I think we are looking for in ourselves and with someone. (I have to say the profiles that say "must make me laugh", omg, isn't it the chemistry of the couple that makes that work?) Is it a package that comes with instructions and pictures? You know what you want when you see it (her/him) but you have to put all the pieces together and make it one.
