You know sometimes I lose count of how many things make me happy during the day…the smell of coffee in the morning, the view of the water and cityscapes out my bedroom window, the sound of one of my son’s voices when they call just to say “HI”, the joy of working in PJ’s & fluffy slippers on those cherished “work from home” days, or the sheer joy I feel when my hour at the gym is finally finished! My life is so good and I am so very, very blessed. There is just one thing missing…that “perfect-for me”, one man, to share it all with. Could you be him? Let’s see……

I am strong and independent, but sometimes I feel quite vulnerable. The perfect man for me finds strength and independence sexy, yet he has a strong “protective instinct” and wants to make me feel safe.

I love to laugh and giggle…I can find humor in most anything (remind to me to tell you about my favorite website for laughter). The perfect man for me does not take himself or life too seriously…he still puts his head back and laughs like a little kid…makes me smile just thinking about watching him.

I love the outdoors…the feel of the sun, the smell of the rain, the heat of a bon-fire, the peace and awe of a starlit night. I remember a time I woke my two son’s up in the middle night, we took donuts and hot chocolate, drove out into the country, and laid on top of the car to watch an eclipse. What a great memory! The perfect man for me is equally awed by nature and the beauty and wonder that surround us.

I would rather be biking than napping. I would rather be swimming or skiing than sitting on the beach. I would rather be dancing than watching. I love to hike & camp, (and I mean real camping…You know the tent in the wilderness kind?) That being said, I also love spending the whole day curled up in front of the fire watching West Wing or Will and Grace re-runs. The perfect man for me is active yet, still enjoys imitating a vegetable on those awesome “lazy” days.

I believe in a higher power, in honesty, in commitment, in sharing. The perfect man for me shares at least some of these ideals and has a desire to make a difference…even if that difference is just in the life of another. Imagine the world if we all simply tried to make a positive difference for just one other person…could be incredible.

I am blessed with a great family and wonderful friends. I am financially responsible and have a job I enjoy. I am emotionally mature…and while I like you, have had my share of life’s challenges…I am grateful every day for the endless blessings. The perfect man for me is grateful not because his life is perfect, he is grateful because he recognizes all the blessings that have come from the “imperfections” of his life.

Hiking the AT...then I did it (only the Georgia portion HA). I wanted to try sky diving..so I did that too. I wanted to cruise the Greek isles...and I did. Now, I want to find my last great love...and I will.

The man I am looking for is kind, honest, and secure in who he is. He appreciates his strengths, and recognizes his weaknesses. He understands life is about the journey, not the destination, and he comprehends the joy of the journey is more about what he is on the inside than what he finds on the outside. He is passionate about love, life, and learning, yet willing to attend to the mundane responsibilities of everyday life. He possesses emotional maturity, yet has not lost his ability to revel in silliness and fun. Most of all...he still believes in love and knows how to express it when he feels it.
