First time doing this, so bear with me. I am articulate, focused, productive, and I have been accused of being sophisticated, thus my byline.
I am reluctant to put up photos of the sexier me as I dont trust this site on same. I have no idea what you guys see here, I know far more women get this virus than me, at least far more women know they have it. Not looking to be the poster girl here.
Foremost to know about me is my dedication to what I commit to, I’m all in. I do most things to the best of my ability. If I say yes, my brain may say Whiskey-Tango-Foxtrot but my mouth just agreed, so I’m in.
I am a scientist, although retired after 35 years in big Pharma. I still look at all through a scientific filter.
I am passionate about human and equal right for all. Always been for the underdog, and during the pandemic I took a deep dive. Growing up in the south, I don’t think I always got ALL the history…
Love critters. Just saw a Bald Eagle a few weeks ago in the wild, and still celebrating it. I have a mouse that jumps in my bird feeder, how industrious.
Grew up with horses, worked with everything fro mice to horses, with pigs as my specialty. Monkeys I am not fond of but worked with them too.
I collect art glass, research and write about same. I travel globally, have good friends globally. Something about coming home after brings on the happy dance. I love solitude, peace and quiet but I can crank it up.
Love the big outdoors, not adverse to trying new things. Have hiked a few trails, including overnight to Machu Pichu, took lots of dedicated training.
I enjoy live music, listen to Country Rock, Classic Rock, WXPN out of Philly, and Pandora channels. Favorites include the Stones (digging Hackney Diamonds since its release), Tom Petty, Dylan, Sir Van Morrison, The Doors, and Chris Stapleton's music is a go-to for those kinds of whiskey-drinking, blue-ish mood evenings.
Not a huge fan of non-descriptors like LOL to communicate, I like words, I like to write. And I am a pretty straight-shooter, ask me anything, and I will answer you straight on. And especially if I can help in any way.
I have lived with this virus for maybe 20 years, through 2 long term relationships, without spreading it. Being a scientist, it makes a little crazy the lack of research and known science.
Hoping to find a good guy for dinner, drinks out, social scene. Friends first, more later possibly. I love a good conversation, but I miss most now is skin to skin, and a super languid kiss.
