Yes, it is another day on planet earth. I am a simple, yet complex man yearning for a simple romantically lead life with a like minded partner in an ever more complex world. I believe in the golden rule, fair play, equality, compassion, tenderness, empathy and honesty. I work at being a good man every day. I am an animal lover and I have two dogs. I have been fortunate to have traveled the world a couple times. I enjoy weekend trips discovering natural beauties of California. I have seen tremendous poverty and opulence. My travels have influenced my views. Social and political issue
Magnetism, chemistry and timing. …..Those three elusive forces that are necessary to create a sustained chemical reaction that can last a lifetime. Magnetism is the force that draws us together. It is that force that is felt from a shared glance that draws us physically closer together. Chemistry is that primitive element that generates heat, intensity and passion. And as we all know, timing is everything. Some believe that we know in seconds if somebody will be a lover or a friend. I believe we “like each other” because of shared experiences, similar ideologies, mutual interests and an appreciation for those subtle differences of one another. A relationship should have much more “flow” than compromise. I am interested in forming a relationship with someone who has a good balance of a heart, mind and body connection.
I am learning... even at this age.. that it is "body" that comes first... Having a written online relationship can be good for either mind or heart engagement, but then you meet and there is no physical chemistry. After the body, it is the mind.. the magnetism that moves us closer... and if we are lucky, the heart follows. Experience has taught me that real heart takes the longest...
While the preceding words seem serious, I find many reasons to laugh everyday. Humor is important to me. My days start long before the sun rises and I walk my dogs. I enjoy being out in the fresh air while the city sleeps.
