If you are stopping by my page, kindly read what I've written. I promise I'll do the same in return. For anyone who didn't take a little time putting together their pics and their profile together, please know that it's hard to see what you look like from one pic with a hat and glasses on or by reading 1-2 sentences. My daughters are 21 & 22. That leaves me, a leftover dog, and my parakeet free to do whatever we want. If you have kids I hope they’re older too!! I like a family guy! If your kids still require sitters, we may not be the best match. I like walking the trails and I’m sometimes found doing home improvement projects. My taste in music is anything but rap or country. I enjoy classical music, new age, and a good classic rock concert at Red Rocks. I also play guitar and sing with friends from time to time. I like off Broadway plays and would love to go to the symphony or ballet some time. I was once a classically trained ballet dancer, but it's hard to tell that was ever the case when I trip over my own feet. Comedy clubs are really fun too! I enjoy cooking & eating healthy foods & working out. But I like a great burger and fries too! My favorite beverage is a cold glass of water! I don't drink and am hoping to find someone who is either just an occasional social drinker or doesn't drink either. So if you like to get a little fuzzy around the edges we probably aren’t a good fit. I am spiritual but not religious, politically aware but not a "wing", interested in saving our planet but I've never carried a sign, careful about health and nutrition but not a "nut". My best partner is not tied up in ego and tends to be the tall, dark, quiet type. He is present in conversation, has a thoughtful gaze, and has no trouble with eye contact. He knows that conversation means talking "with" not "to" someone. If you are extremely outgoing - a life of the party type – we won’t be a fit. I tend to be private and polite, but I'm not emotionally unavailable. I'm happy to share my thoughts and feelings with someone I trust who is willing to do the same. Manners are important to me – gentleman not caveman! I carry a phone but don't look at it constantly and while charm school table manners aren't realistic, I enjoy the company of a gentleman who feels the same. Please be a homeowner and have a decent car. I do! I live near the Flatirons Mall and am hoping to find someone within an easy 30 minutes from here. Lastly, should you live outside the Boulder/Denver corridor (around Hwy 36) or if you were born before 1960 and you ask me to correspond, I will most likely decline. It's not that I don't find you attractive or interesting, but I've got these items here for my own reasons. I'm happy to exchange messages and maybe more with a true gentleman. I must confess I do prefer taller men. I like to be with someone who can talk WITH me, not at me. Comfortable eye contact is a must. He is self assured but not an egomaniac and he smiles easily.

He takes care of himself through diet and exercise and enjoys touch as much as me. But he's polite and kind and romantic. Never pushes a first kiss on the first date or in a parking lot!
