I would love if you were a witty, laid back, professional, have good work/life balance. You are responsible but can let loose and relax when the time comes, have great friends with nice girlfriends/wives, you love your family. Someone who is "bad" with money isn't a fit because it can cause long term issues/stress for me/a relationship. You might have old fashion values with an edge like me. I would love if you taught me to golf or something new, or maybe encouraged me to take up a challenge. I do have important deal breakers but sometimes I know with my gut more than I can express in this forum.

I am looking for someone who understands and enjoys the friendship component of a relationship in addition to the intimacy and commitment that comes with a long term relationship. A true partnership is what I am looking for however dating can be a lot of fun because it may expand our interests, experiences and circle of people in our lives. At 38, I am not interested in long term casual dating, I'd like to find a lasting relationship. I can be a slow to warm up person in a "blind date" situation but with the right person I am an open book and enjoy connecting with people.
