I am told I have a good heart and good understanding. I am open to other cultures and ethnicities. We can learn so much with an open mindset. I try to keep a positive attitude in all areas. I am ALWAYS striving to show more kindness and understanding in my everyday life.

I purposely wrote my profile without my needs, and must haves for dating or a partner!!! I would like to meet someone that has differences also, some maybe I could learn from and possibly embrace also. I like trying new things too. Some may not be my thing or maybe he doesn't care for some of mine. Both willing, we can work it all out together by embracing our differences. This is all part of a partnership too. We can work things out together I love a fun witty sense of humor, mine may seem somewhat silly and at times somewhat obscure, not sure why, maybe its genetics ;-)
I enjoy the outdoors, long walks, fishing, and canoeing. I dream of deep sea fishing at least once. I enjoy travel without a stringent itinerary, I need to take the time to enjoy the sites and the people. Also the unbeaten path leads to some amazing discoveries too.
I find spending time with friends, famiy and cooking for others enjoyable, or dining out.. I also like staying in to watch a good movie or sporting event or going to some good music establishments. I like, plays, comedy shows, music . My music favorites are Old School, Motown, R&B, Funk, Rock & Roll, 80s & 90s. I love a good conversation and like to share stories. I am trying to improve on my pool game again. I have started getting into my artsy side and taken up some painting and glass mosaic.
I like watching most sports but love the comradery of watching with someone or others. Basketball, football and baseball and....
I am retired but took on a part time job to get out and spend more time with people.
I have met some new friends and love learning new things about them and from their cultures. I embrace everyone with a positive attitude, I learn so much in our conversations.
