My friends and family say that I am a little crazy but loyal and caring. I like taking care of people, working hard, laughing until I can't breathe, and enjoying the time I have to spend with those I love! I am a true southern girl! I grew up in Montgomery, the oldest of three girls (my poor dad), in a wonderful God-fearing family. My parents raised me in the traditional southern manner going to church on Sundays, making good grades, using impeccable manners, and knowing how to make a great glass of sweet tea! I moved to Birmingham about 7 years ago for school and never left. I work in the public school system as a first year high school music teacher which requires me to be witty, energetic, and creative so I can keep up with all my kids! I love what I do and am very passionate about the kids I teach! I love having fun! I like to go out to bars and restaurants or dancing on occasion but wining and dining are definitely not the keys to my heart. I like to spend quality time with people so take me on a walk in a park somewhere or along a trail on a pretty day or let's make dinner together and watch a movie or tv show, either sound like the perfect date to me! I love the idea of traveling to big or little cities to enjoy a new atmosphere, try new foods, enjoy different cultures... Last minute trips to the beach or the mountains I am so down for give me 45 minutes notice to pack a quick bag and I am ready to go! I do not like double standards... Been down that road before. I believe that communication is the biggest part of any functional relationship. I like to talk about everything! I can be a little shy at first meeting but give me a chance and you might just fall in love with my bubbly personality!
