I’m a widower seeking a woman whose personality compliments my own: positive attitude, open, warm, a dry sense of humor, intelligent, well-educated, likes children and pets, easy to get along with, low-maintenance. I’m also hoping to find someone who is comfortable with my political stance ( I.e., conservative but not a Trump fan) and my religious beliefs (Catholic).
I am a “snowbird” who spends summer and fall in Michigan, winter and spring in sunny central Texas. I would like to find someone able and willing to spend a significant amount of time in both locations.
My ideal match should be someone who is health-conscious but not a “fitness nut”, who likes to take long weekend trips but not lengthy exotic vacations. I’m not into golf, tennis, or long hikes, but if you are, please be my guest. Walks or bike rides of 2-3 miles are about my speed. I like being by the water, but am not a boater per se.
I am financially and emotionally stable, and am seeking a companion who is the same. I don’t have issues within my family and don’t want to get entangled with someone else’s difficulties.
I was married for 48 years to a wonderful woman. While marriage is not necessarily a priority for me now, if I find the right person, I might be willing to walk down the aisle again.
