The greatest compliment anyone ever gave me was that I couldn't be categorized. I like to think that's true: My education is in linguistics and Latin, and I make my living as a writer and an editor. But I also love a rowdy UFC match, low-brow comedy, and training in traditional boxing and Muay Thai (request access to my private videos to see me sparring and being dropped on my butt :o). I have a dog, and she sleeps in the people bed. I'm a plant-based eater, and I work in animal protection, but I don't like a self-righteous vegan any more than anybody else does. I hope that's enough to go on. I look forward to answering and asking questions.
