I've been here for a little while and have no grand expectaations. I'm mostly positive but I haven't had much success on this site for whatever reason. A little about me. I'm a single retired gentleman and volunteer whenever I can. I workout just about every day and try to watch what I eat because I want to remain fit. I consider myself diverse and I enjoy trying new things.I do not like placing people into cookie cutters so I don't want to say I'm looking for only a certain type of woman to the exclusion of others. I have traveled to and lived in several countries as well as many states and have learned there are good people everywhere, regardless of race and various cultures. I don't drink but I don't mind being around people who do. I think some people think I'm boring or weird because I don't drink, but believe me; I love to have a good time. My parents raised me to be kind and respectful to others and I know how to treat a lady.

I enjoy going to the Smith Center for a show/concert or ballet but I'm ok with going to a UFC fight or to the speedway... I hate to admit it but I also enjoy shopping. I'll try almost anything to get out of the house and enjoy life.

Not looking to change anyone because I can be a bit stubborn at times but if you are not flexible (mentally), don't like to try different things, (food, places, cultures, adventures, activities etc) then I'm probably not your type. I understand everyone has their convictions as do I, but I strive to be open minded and willing to try new things.

Depends on the situation... Could be hiking, perhaps catching a show/movie and dinner or maybe coffee or lunch. We might do something that required elaborate planning or something simple and spontaneous. You only have one chance to make a good first impression so flexibility is key!
