I am a walking contradiction. I am talkative, but need quite time to read. SciFi/Fantasy is my favorite, but I read books like they are candy. I don't have a TV and don't want one. I have chickens, and a medicinal garden, but I shave my legs. I love to dance to Funk if I can get it, and pretty much anything with a beat if I can't. I'm an astute observer of the blatantly obvious, except when it's staring me in the face. I am a planner and a doer, but can be swept away by sudden impulses. I am looking for joy, exhilaration, excitement, peace, kindness and quite. Yes, I want it all, and yet am not very invested in money or status symbols. I am politically progressive. Not democratic, progressive. I am very open minded except when it comes to politics. I love people, parties and street festivals. I can also be overwhelmed by too much noise. I am who I am, but am still growing and changing. Enough about me, what's your thing?

Does anyone really check,"Passiveness"? Power is cool, most of the people with it aren't. I am looking for a funny, confident man who takes care of himself. Someone who has goals and dreams and knows how to achieve them. Someone who realizes that the bumps in the road are often the things that make life interesting and are an opportunity to break out the badass new tires. Someone who likes to talk about things beyond movie quotes and celebrity gossip. A thinker and a doer and who laughs a lot while thinking and doing. Someone who understands that touching and affection can happen outside of the bedroom and makes things better in it when it does. Financial stability is a must. Nothing extravagant, but my daughter wants to go to med school and I can't support you too. Someone who is not easily embarrassed or overly concerned about the oppinions of others(except me). Someone who is kind.
