Hey guys, summer's coming lots of things to do and is better with someone else.. I am an independent, very low drama girl, thinking positively is important to me, I have many things in my life to be grateful for and I do not take them for granted. I have raised my two daughters lone ranger style, we are very close, I have two dogs, rescues, I'm still training the big guy (chocolate lab). I take care of myself, nothing crazy, try not to eat too much crap and exercise regularly. I don't have a problem looking I the mirror in the am... I am a big Ravinia fan, love the blues, old time rock and roll. Festivals, museums, history etc. I want to hold hands and get to know someone again, a best friend, I used to say how easy going I am, for the most part that's true. But manners, along with kindness and intelligence are important to me, I do get impatient with the lack of those attributes. Other than that, I prefer "real men" someone that can handle social situations, take control without being too over the top. And of course I am a girl, so it's pretty impossible for me to completely drama free... I really do cherish my independence. I need my alone time, as do most people. I totally get why men spend time in their garages, etc., too much estrogen is too much for me too, I'm really not sure how you guys put up with us, I don't think I could handle it. Personally that's why I think men go ice fishing, get a little break from the women in their lives. In some cases I would probably want to come with you, and you would find out that I'd be a great fishing partner, I just need a book, and if it's sunny someplace to tan, I don't need to talk, comfortable silence is a big goal with a best friend. Not to say that's all I'm looking for, I just want to take things slow, if we're fortunate enough that the friendship becomes more, that would be really great, but I'm not into expectations or timelines, life is way too short for that! I am looking for someone who is comfortable in their own skin, confident with the ability to talk to women without getting in too much trouble. Manners, dressing appropriately for the occasion. Someone who has not given up, that is probably the first thing I will notice, we are not old! Having a positive attitude is very important to me, humor as well, I need to laugh! I'm am pretty shy at first, but if you can get my goofy side to come out - you my friend have a talent that I will not be ignored. :)
