An ideal first date would be a walk around Pikes Market. Stop for coffee, shop for fresh produce, window shop. Maybe sit along the water and chat. If it goes well, take the produce home and make a dinner together with a glass of wine. Another great first date would be to find a place for a little lunch to get acquainted before exploring a funky used bookstore. If things really progressed over the weeks, we could go on a road trip and read the treasured book we found to each other on the road and in bed at night.

Auditioning for a major stage production. I'm eyeing the next auditions for Show Tunes of Seattle. I've also been thinking about learning to rock climb this summer. It would make my hiking trips that much more interesting, keep me strong, and provide a meditative activity that keeps me in the present moment.

My goal in life is to become healthy and balanced enough that I am available to do service for others. I would like to be able to make a difference in the areas of nutrition (especially as they relate to mental health). I am concerned about our self-inflicted disease epidemic in our country largely caused by our lifestyle and how to help educate people to make lifestyle changes and give them the tools to do so. My goal is to be healthy no matter my age so I can fully participate in my hobbies and family. And that requires health. And my health is my responsibility.

My idea of fun varies, because I love to try new things and be well rounded. So fun can be playing volleyball with friends on the beach. Fun can be exploring a new funky used bookstore. Fun can be a spontaneous road trip to camp or visit a new town. Fun can be going to the theater and wandering downtown for a cocktail and to people watch. Fun can also be an alone activity. I enjoy reading in the bath with candles all around. That is fun. Practicing piano - that is fun. I hope to be able to accompany myself singing for my 50th birthday and have my own first house party.

I am looking for a man who can balance his innate nature to be a leader, to be *****ant with a respect for his lady that shows he considers her his equal. But I look for a strong man. I look for a man with a creative streak. (tend to gravitate towards men who write, play music, or otherwise create. It is especially sexy when I find a man with creative tendencies who has found a way to incorporate that into a stable lifestyle. (Do what you love and the money will follow, they say.) I also look for men who are healthy. Not necessarily buff gym rats, but men who care about how they treat their body - who also care about what the quality of their life will be as they grow older.
