I have been going about looking for a companion in the wrong direction. I considered situations and realized that maybe I should look from this direction. I have been a shmuck in the past (2 divorces) and am working on a path of correction. I know I'm not even close to perfect, but its progress rather than perfection I am told is the key. I do have a good heart, even my embittered ex will admit that, and working on a path of growth. I have a couple of degrees, working in a field that helps people. I enjoy remodeling, building decks and such. I have more hobbies sitting around to be worked on than I have time to pursue. I live with a pair of cats, enjoy cooking, reading, listening to audiobooks, watching movies. I opted to stay off cable/satellite service, so just local channels and Netflix and a cabinet of movies (mostly scifi, adventure, and comicbook heroes.) I to to church when my work schedule allows, and help out friends and neighbors as much as I can. Politically, I'm believe in more of a conservative/Libertarian view. Keep the government out of our lives as much as possible and let the will of the 319 million of us decide what is best, versus the 536 in Congress and the White House. Love thy neighbor as our self. Let us keep more of our hard earned money and distribute it to those we choose, as we choose.
