Well.... Not sure if anyone reads this to begin with.... But I suppose I'll put in the effort just in case....
Just trying to see what this online thing is all about. I'm tired of meeting the wrong girl especially in some random bar. I'm 29 years old, and I think I'm over that part of my life. I feel that there has to be something more to life than the bar scene. I'd like the chance to find someone who I can connect with, and settle down eventually. I just transferred back home to Louisiana from Virginia after being stationed there on Active Duty for the past eight years. I'm originally from Baton Rouge but living in Slidell for the first time. I hate living in Slidell and I'm seriously considering moving to Nola.
I spend a lot of my time trying to stay in shape. Working out and living healthy is really important to me. I use to compete in triathlons and marathons, but after so long.... that really took its toll on my body, haha. So recently I've gotten back into heavy powerlifting. Other than that.... I love being in the outdoors...... whether it is camping, hiking, wakeboarding, or snowboarding. I also love the fact that I can hop on my bike (Harley) and rip the roads whenever I want. I hope I can find someone that enjoys getting out and being active so I can have a partner in crime.
I would describe myself as a genuine and down to earth, but passionate guy. Whatever I'm into I'm 100%, it's all or nothing with me. I'm completely spontaneous and like to do things without a plan and fly by the "seat of my pants". I'm strong in my convictions and I have no problems standing up for what I believe in. I'm definitely direct and to the point, and I wont hesitate to tell someone when I think they're full of ****. I like to go out with friends and throw a few back every once in a while, but I have definitely calmed down quite a bit the past few years. Still..... every once in while I like to go out and blow off some steam. At the same time, I'm also all about hanging out at the house with someone I care about. I love my family and would kill for them if necessary....... I consider my friends to be family.
I still love going to concerts and festivals as often as I can. I'm open to most styles of music but I prefer metal, classic rock, old school punk, and old old school country. But hey when a girl wants to dance you have to make some compromises, lol. If you looked at my pictures you can probably tell I have tattoos, lol. If you don't like them...... well sorry for you. I'm a huge movie fanatic, you will definitely catch me throwing out completely random movie quotes at completely random time, haha. I hope to find someone who is looking for the same things in life as I am,...... a best friend (a partner in crime), and family. At the same time I hope that person is a cool, down to earth, easy going, attractive girl that is willing to get to know someone first before passing judgement. I want someone who puts stock in morals and values to include being family oriented. Someone who is honest and likes to get out of the house and have a good time. I believe in commitment and working through the hard times. I don't believe in just calling it quits, I want a girl who has similar values. Staying fit and healthy is really important to me like I said. I hate to sound shallow but I'm into women who take care of themselves and care about the way they look. I am confident in who I am and I know what I want, I really feel like I shouldn't have to settle and Id like to find the girl who can compliment those values.

Something off the beaten path..... maybe something outdoors where we can have fun and be somewhat active but still get to know each other. A walk through city park with a stop a morning cal for a cup of coffee. Maybe some put put...... who knows...... lets just get wild, lol. Seriously though..... I am pretty spontaneous... but I like to put a lot of thought into a date and make it worth while.
