Jeg beskriver mig selv som

A native New Yorker, I have been living in Texas for 21 years. I still work full-time and love my job assisting the CEO of a not-for-profit member organization in Dallas. I do not have children or grandchildren but I do have a sweet, affectionate cat who adores me! I do not look or act my age. My greatest passion is ballroom dancing which I began in late 2010. In October 2014, I danced in front of hundreds of people with my teacher at the Dallas City Performance Hall and it was a huge accomplishment in my life. The proceeds of the production benefited the Susan G. Komen Foundation. I consider myself an honest, loyal, passionate, loving, considerate and fun-loving person. I am a graduate of the School of Performing Arts in New York (majored in theatre) and I have always loved the Arts. I also play the piano. I enjoy, of course, ballroom dancing events, theatre, live concerts, craft fairs, fine dining, cooking, friends and family and much more. I am the furthest thing from lazy. I'm petite (5'2") and very thin. I exercise and eat right because I know I am going to live well into my 90s! That's not to say that I won't indulge in a Chili's bacon cheeseburger and fries every now and then. I'm just extremely disciplined about staying in shape and I admire and look for that in a partner. I love dressing to the nines but I'm also comfortable in jeans or sweats. I'm a multi-faceted person. People tell me I'm classy and sophisticated and that I have a great sense of humor, something which is important to me. I rarely have a frown on my face. Life is short and we have to make the most of it while we're here! Since I am all about honesty, I must admit that I have been wearing beautiful wigs for many years and was told in my "youth" for many years that I looked like Elizabeth Taylor!! That always put a smile on my face! The men in my life told me I was beautiful with and without the added hair. However, I believe that beauty on the inside is so much more important than it is on the outside. In the 1970s I lived in Brussels, Belgium for 4-1/2 years and spoke fluent French. I love languages. I also spoke fluent S****** years ago but I'm rusty in both languages now. I believe that communication, honesty and integrity are the foundation of a good relationship. I also believe that the couples who play together, stay together. You have to be best friends! I am a great listener but I do not like getting into arguments about politics or religion and I believe in "Live and Let Live." I have been widowed since 2008.

to continue to work until I can't stand the traffic on the Dallas North Tollway anymore; to become the best ballroom dancer I can be and hopefully find someone who loves to dance; and to "give back" when I retire because I feel very blessed in life.
